
The South MCD of Delhi has made a magnificent ‘Bharat darshan park‘ out of junk. Which is built in Punjabi Bagh in 8.5 acres fulfilling the concept of Waste to Wealth. This park has been opened to the public on 25 December 2021. Union Home Minister Amit Shah gave it his blessing on Saturday.

The opening hours of this park are from 10 am to 10 pm. People will be able to take their families and children here for a walk.
21 Artefacts made from scraps of vehicles
South MCD has built in the park near the cremation ground in Punjabi Bagh. 21 artifacts in this park have been made from the scraps of vehicles. About 250 to 300 tones of scrap has been used to make it. The special thing is that the replicas have been made from the junk like old vehicles, iron rods, fans, nut bolts etc. lying in the MCD store.
What to See Bharat darshan park
Here you can see replicas of historical monuments like Badrinath temple, Khajuraho Temple, Mysore Palace, Meenakshi Temple, Hampi, Victoria Memorial, Sanchi, Stupa, Taj Mahal, Qutub Minar, Charminar, Gateway of India, Konark Temple, Nalanda Monument, Gol Gumbad, Ajanta Ellora caves, Hawa Mahal etc. have been built.
Premium ticket price tripled
South MCD has kept the entry fee of the park double as compared to Seven Wonder Park located at Sarai Kale Khan. But the price of premium entry ticket has been fixed at almost 3 times. Because premium tickets will be for those who enter after 5 pm. During this, one can enjoy the colorful lights in the park.
Park One, But Target Many | Bharat darshan park
In the Bharat Darshan Park, the historical buildings of the country have been made from junk. The dream of the Prime Minister of the country, ‘Water to Kanchan’s journey’ has been fulfilled here. Along with this, many messages have also been given, such as Swachh Bharat, skill building, maintaining the cultural unity of the country, promoting tourism of the country, many goals have been fulfilled through the same park. Apart from this, the corporation hopes to improve its deteriorating economic condition through this park.
