Old Digha Vs New Digha
Two Digha: Digha is divided into two parts. The old area is known as Old Digha. There are markets at this traditional hotel. Bus stands are also here. In the evening there seems to be a great market. And it looks amazing. After going about half a kilometer from the main road, you will get a beach.
The coast is very beautiful and spacious. Due to the salt water of the sea, sitting on a large stone on the edge of the fields, it is a different pleasure to watch the beautiful sea waves. But the coast here has now been declared dangerous.
Old Digha beach has been closed for bathing. Here, only now the sea can be admired. On the shore there are more than one shops for food and drink. It is one and a half kilometers away. New Digha is inhabited.
The beaches have been opened here. There is more than one hotel here. Where every range of rooms is available. Those who do not like hotel food. Here, they give their purchased goods to the owner of a small hotel built on every street corner. And they make food in front of them at a nominal price.
What to See Digha Beachs
What to see: Digha beach is the biggest attraction here. Everything from bath to food is available here. If the children want to roam, the horses take them for a walk. Boat is available if you want to take a trip to the sea.
After taking a walk for about half an hour, you will leave the boat back on the shore. Apart from this, the science center here is also worth seeing. Where science related things make you sick.
There are also science related games in the park built here. The children play very well. A part of this park is developed as Jurassic Park. By coming here, you reach the dinosaur era. It is also Asia’s largest marine aquarium.
The Specialty of Digha Beach
The specialty of Digha is | That the most viewable place here is within 12 – 14 kilometers. If you want, you can see them even in one day. The temples of Digha are very beautiful. The Chandeshwar Temple is a great glory at a short distance. Lankeshwar Temple, located 14 kilometers from here, is a little more than 45 kilometers away. Kalpa Kundal Temple is there.
Digha Beach Call it Udaipur
A little further away from Digha is another beach. Which are very open and gorgeous. Due to this, there is a lot of shooting of Bengal films. The locals here call it Udaipur. Cashew trees are very much here. Which look like a small forest.

Wall hangings and other accessories made of jute are also very much liked by tourists. And do not forget to drink the coconut water here, at such a low price, such good coconut water is rarely available in India.
How to Reach Digha Beach
How to reach: The bus runs from Kolkata to Digha every 15 – 20 minutes in the morning. This bus will reach Digha in 4 to 5 hours. They can be captured by the martyr tower. Two trains run daily from Howrah to Digha. Howrah is connected by rail route all over India. Kolkata’s Subhash Chandra Bose Airport is the nearest airport. From where you can reach Digha by train or road.
